Very vivid. Didn’t the shopkeepers create a fuss when you took these?

Initially I was hesitant but no one protested. The shopkeepers at Dilli Haat are mostly poor artisans, and not hardcore traders- some of them liked their creations being appreciated. But the danger of being rudely snubbed was there 🙂

Very nice pictures! And at Delhi Haat, shopkeepers are used to it – getting their products photographed. In fact, they themselves (some of them, especially the colourfully attired women artisans), make good subjects. Obviously, you had been more cautious in this regard.

ahh..always nice to see a post on dilli haat..been visiting that place for 5 years, still the flavor of the place is amazing. not so much of the one which is built in Pitampura though.
